Learners on Lewisham College’s Diploma in Creative Media Production (Media Sports Journalism and Marketing) Level 3 course attended a TV studio workshop at Ravensbourne University London, as part of a partnership to collaborate on a talk show project.

Lewisham College hosted a Jobs, Careers and Apprenticeships Fair to allow learners to meet with employers and training providers and learn more about the career opportunities available across various industries, including Hospitality, Healthcare, Finance and many more. Up to 600 young people and adults attended the event, interested in live job vacancies and training programmes.

Supported Learning students from Lewisham College hosted an Autism Day Fair during World Autism Acceptance Week to fundraie for the National Autistic Society, raise awareness, and champion increased acceptance and inclusion for people with Autism in education, work and the community.

Lewisham College's learners in the Art and Design and Performing and Production Art disciplines worked collaboratively to produce the Extra Ordinary art exhibition hosted in the College's art studios. The exhibition is an annual activity for learners in the Creative Arts faculty to display art pieces they have created as part of the end-of-term collaborative project in preparation for their final assignment.

Performing and Production Arts learners from Lewisham College staged the theatre production, The Filthy Rakes, a comedy based on the Restoration period of 17th century England, where they showcased their talent and skills on a promenade performance piece. The play, attended by the College's community, the learners' family and friends and GCSE Drama learners from a local school, was centred on King Charles II, who made it possible for women to act in theatre at the time. The soundtrack chosen included popular songs from the 1980s and was complemented by dance choreographies from the era.

Performing Arts & Production Arts learners from Lewisham College attend a career planning workshop delivered by Jim Pope from Playing On Theatre Company, as part of the College's Aspiration Higher Education initiative. The workshop delivered in partnership with Rose Bruford College and is designed to enable learners to work collaboratively with industry professionals to plan their careers beyond college education and to support them in their next steps towards a career in the performing arts industry.
