Summer’s finally here – even if the sun isn’t always shining – and Lewisham College celebrated in style at its Summer Fair on Wednesday 19 June.

Hundreds of students and staff gathered in Breakspears Hall for the lunchtime party which included free food and drink for all students, as well as a range of different stalls to browse and other fun activities to enjoy. Some students even got physical, taking up the challenge of pedalling on a fixed bike to create the power needed to make their own smoothie at the Urban Smoothie stand.

While munching on hot dogs, attendees were kept well entertained by a fantastic live band and performances by talented Music students from our sister institution, Southwark College.

Daniel Rodriguez Garcia, Student Involvement Officer, said: “The Summer Fair was a great chance to get together with friends and colleagues and take a moment to relax after what’s been a very busy year.
