Lewisham College joined local organisations and employers at the Millwall Kick into Employment Job Fair, meeting prospective learners and members of the local community to discuss education, training and career pathways.
Organised by Millwall Community Trust and held at The Lions Centre, the event brought together employers, training providers and support organisations from a range of sectors. Visitors included school students from across the local area, adult learners and jobseekers looking to explore their next steps.
Representatives from Lewisham College spoke with attendees throughout the day about the wide range of courses available and the different routes into further study, apprenticeships and employment. The team also promoted the College's upcoming Open Events, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about studying at Lewisham College and discover pathways aligned to their interests and career ambitions.
The event also highlighted Lewisham College's ongoing partnership with Millwall FC, through which the College delivers its Sport provision. The partnership helps learners develop valuable skills while benefiting from links with an organisation that is deeply embedded within the local community.
Construction and apprenticeship programmes generated significant interest among visitors, while many also explored opportunities in IT and a wide range of other subject areas offered by the College.
