Learner Support

The Wellbeing Service assists our learners to manage their health, mental health and emotions with the aim of giving them the best chance of success at college and in the future. We also work with staff and parents to promote the health and wellbeing of our learners.

We provide:

  •  a safe and private space to discuss concerns
  • counselling
  • coaching
  • general health advice and referral
  • sexual health clinic
  • liaison with and referral to external services
  • assistance with joining and remaining in college

We welcome disclosures about wellbeing concerns as a step towards finding a solution. We are mindful of our responsibility to respect the sensitive nature of information disclosed to us.

Coronavirus update

Lewisham College is closely monitoring all communications and guidance as it becomes available. This information is for students and staff and reflects updates from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Public Health England (PHE). We are prepared to escalate our contingency arrangements in the event of change.

The government is monitoring the situation closely and will continue to work with the WHO and international community. For staff and students it remains business as usual across our sites and our workplaces.
