Lewisham College partnered with Brockley Society for their 48th annual Hilly Fields Midsummer Fayre. The event was a successful afternoon of outdoor entertainment for the residents of Brockley and beyond.

This event was an excellent opportunity for Lewisham College to continue building on its relationship with Lewisham's community and engage with locals to share information on the College's offer to support adults upskill and into work and young people on the next steps of their education and future careers.

The event was filled with unique stalls, fantastic food, and fun activities, showcasing the area's thriving small businesses and grassroots organisations. The fayre also featured a variety of entertainment, including a dance performance, karate showcase, and dog competition, which was a crowd favourite.

As the day progressed, the College's stand received many visitors, including former learners who now work for local employers and a member of the Brockley Society who studied construction at the College. As well as a mixture of people and community organisations who have connections with Lewisham College, which highlighted the important contribution the College makes to the local community.
