Lewisham College is excited to launch a new NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Heating qualification starting in the new year. The course is designed to equip current tradespeople in the plumbing industry with the latest practical training and skills that meet the requirements of working within the sector.

This qualification requires the completion of centre-based knowledge, practical assessments and workplace-based performance assessments covering a comprehensive range of units, including Health and Safety, Environmental Technologies, Hot and Cold Water, Decommissioning and Maintenance, Central Heating and Draining System Installation.

To be eligible for the course, students must currently be employed within a plumbing working environment and hold a Level 2 qualification within the field.

Employers who are interested in enrolling a member of their team on this programme are encouraged to take advantage of the College's new year offer of £1250 - saving £200 on course fees - available until 31 January 2022. Completing this qualification presents a fantastic opportunity for employers to upskill staff and boost productivity in their organisation.

Lewisham College’s specialist Construction and Engineering academy in Deptford offers a wealth of well-equipped workshops and facilities that reflect those found in industry.

To find out more about the programme and how the College can support you to reduce the skills gap in your organisation, please complete the Employer Enquiry Form at lewisham.ac.uk/employers/enquire.
