Sabastina Agyapong, who is studying a Health and Social Care diploma at Lewisham College, scooped first prize in the Maths and English GCSE Poster Competition, which aimed to improve attendance by promoting the all-important exam dates.

The winning poster, which succeeded in improving attendance, was an eye-catching design in red and black which clearly signposted the dates and start times of each exam, as well as providing a visual reminder of the equipment students needed to bring along. The poster was put up around Lewisham College and our sister institution, Southwark College, in the run-up to the GCSE exams. Sabastina and runner-up Ayesha Chowdhury were presented with their certificates by Sharon Muncie, Director of Student Experience at a special ceremony.
