Receiving these impressive results in their subjects has created opportunities for them to progress onto higher level education, with vocational, technical, or academic study now potential options for their future. It has also been a good year for Lewisham College as learners receive outstanding grades in their BTEC and vocational courses.

Gerard Garvey, Principal at Lewisham College, said: “The achievements of our GCSE learners today bring the College a great sense of pride. Their discipline, focus, and determination are an inspiration to all of us here at Lewisham College.

“Their results are a testament to all the hard work put in by both the learners and the teaching and learner support staff. I’m thrilled to see that so many of our learners have received the grades they need to take their next steps. We are looking forward to welcoming many of them back in September, as we will continue to support them in their journey towards higher education, apprenticeships and employment.”
