Lewisham College's learners in the Art and Design and Performing and Production Art disciplines worked collaboratively to produce the Extra Ordinary art exhibition hosted in the College's art studios. The exhibition is an annual activity for learners in the Creative Arts faculty to display art pieces they have created as part of the end-of-term collaborative project in preparation for their final assignment.

Performing and Production Arts learners from Lewisham College staged the theatre production, The Filthy Rakes, a comedy based on the Restoration period of 17th century England, where they showcased their talent and skills on a promenade performance piece. The play, attended by the College's community, the learners' family and friends and GCSE Drama learners from a local school, was centred on King Charles II, who made it possible for women to act in theatre at the time. The soundtrack chosen included popular songs from the 1980s and was complemented by dance choreographies from the era.

Lewisham College is closely monitoring all communications and guidance as it becomes available. This information is for students and staff and reflects updates from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Public Health England (PHE). We are prepared to escalate our contingency arrangements in the event of change.
