Lewisham College recently welcomed Bubble Food to put on a culinary masterclass for catering learners to help them get an insight of working in the industry.

During the masterclass, Bubble’s Michelin trained chefs presented to the learners, explaining their ethos as a sustainable catering company that provides creative, spectacular, and luxurious catering events for their clients. Learners had the opportunity to assist the chefs in preparing some of their signature dishes and desserts, such as their canape fish and chips, oysters and pearls, and bubble bath - a white chocolate rubber duck a l'orange with chocolate mousse and gingerbread bubbles.

Bubble's chefs also spoke about the challenges they face when catering at large events and how they manage the coordination of preparing and serving food, sometimes to thousands of people.

Gerard Garvey, Principal at Lewisham College said: "It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome Bubble food to our Lewisham Way campus. The food they presented was incredible, and they provided our learners with an excellent insight into how catering businesses operate and the chance to work alongside chefs who are at the top of their field."
