Lewisham College's Maths Competition 2024 was a resounding success, with over 200 participants across six faculties entering the contest. Initial entrants were tasked with answering 15 questions ranging in difficulty from Level 1 to GCSE Higher Tier, and included areas across Numbers, Algebra, Geometry, Ratio and Proportions and Probability.

Lewisham College hosted the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) 50+ Jobs Fair aimed at individuals over 50 seeking employment in South London.
With over 20 exhibitors from various sectors, the jobs fair provided a comprehensive platform for job seekers to explore a wide range of employment opportunities. These opportunities included current vacancies and potential courses from organisations such as the South London & Maudsley NHS, Transport for London, Ardmore Group, Five Rivers Fostering, Zen Educate, the Metropolitan Police, TMS Protection, Mulalley, and Joe Brennan Training (JBT).

A group of Level 3 Electrical Installation learners from Lewisham College recently participated in work experience, hosted by Mace Group, a leading global consultancy and construction company. The week-long event, part of Mace Group’s Green Skills initiative, offered students the opportunity to explore sustainability in the built environment while developing vital skills for their future careers.
