Supported Learning

This is a one-year programme that will run from September to July 5 days per week Monday to Friday. The course is a combination of: - A work placement at Lewisham Council - Coaching and support from a tutor job coach and department managers - English and maths

    • 16 - 24 with an Education Health and Care (EHC) plan. - No formal qualifications needed.

    Assessment Method

    Continuous assessment (no exams).

    Aims of the course

    This course aims to help learners: - Gain the skills and experience needed to get a paid job - To take part in a variety of work placements - To develop independence confidence and self-esteem

    Progression Opportunities

    Learners could choose to progress into a paid job within the local area.

    Facilities

    This course is practical-based learning can take place in different council services for example local leisure centres parks and offices. However there will also be classroom work.

    Career Options

    Learners could choose to enter entry level jobs within a range of settings.

Coronavirus update
