    Completion of the Level 1 Health and Social Care course or Initial assessment completion at level 2. An interview will also be carried out to check suitability.

    Aims of the course

    This qualification provides foundational knowledge for learners who may be new to the sector or new to the world of work. It is accessible to learners who may want to understand more about working in health and social care. It aims to introduce some basic concepts of caring and preparation for employment in the sector.

    Progression Opportunities

    This course allows progress to the next level of study: Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care. Acees to Nursing (Applicants will need to meet the required entry requirements for English and maths).* Level 2 childcare OR Level 3 childcare ( Applicants will need to meet the required entry requirements for English and maths).

Coronavirus update

Lewisham College is closely monitoring all communications and guidance as it becomes available.
