The Multi GCSE Pathway is designed for young people who need the opportunity to study up to five GCSE subjects in one academic year. The programme supports learners who may have missed education or underachieved in Year 11, providing a structured route to gain essential qualifications. Students can choose from a range of GCSE subjects including Maths, English Language, English Literature, Sociology, History and Combined Science, with Combined Science counting as two GCSEs. All GCSEs are nationally recognised and awarded by AQA or Pearson Edexcel. On completion, learners achieve up to five full GCSE qualifications, depending on the subjects they select.

Aims of the course
The course aims to help learners bridge the gap created by missed education or low attainment in Year 11. It is designed to develop essential academic knowledge across a balanced curriculum, alongside transferable skills such as resilience, independent study, and critical thinking. The programme promotes inclusion and aims to increase social mobility by providing learners with the support they need to progress to higher-level study or employment.
Progression Opportunities
Learners completing the Multi GCSE Pathway progress into a range of positive destinations. These include A Levels, T Levels, Level 3 vocational courses, sixth forms, apprenticeships or entry-level employment. The course supports learners in building the confidence and academic readiness needed to succeed in the next stage of their education or career.

Teaching takes place in dedicated classrooms and specialist spaces, including fully equipped science laboratories for learners studying Science. Learners benefit from structured lessons, guided study, and access to support resources. Some subjects may offer optional educational visits where relevant.
Career Options
Achieving core GCSEs opens the door to a wide variety of future career pathways.
