This study programme can lead to a several different paths for further education in electrical industries, and potential job opportunities include self-employment, joining construction companies and working with local authority maintenance teams.
The electrical courses are workshop and classroom based
Learners who successfully meet the criteria set out in assessments may progress to the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma Note that students require at least GCSE level 4 (grade C) in maths AND English to progress onto level 2 Electrical Installation. Level 1 students without this will need to obtain these GCSE's while undertaking the Level 1 Electrical Installation if they wish to progress to level 2 the following year.
