Lewisham College welcomed Loud Speaker to deliver inspirational workshops to its learners at both the Deptford Bridge and Lewisham Way campuses. These sessions were aimed to empower learners, instilling in them the belief that they have the potential to become successful individuals, as part of a live tour across the NCG college group.

Motivational Speakers Aaron Roach Bridgeman and Rich Rudolph delivered the workshops designed to help young people build on life skills, such as public speaking, confidence and resilience in preparation for their next steps into higher education and employment. The inspiring workshops introduced learners to a storytelling framework, prompting them to share their 'Loves' as a display of reliability, 'Challenges' as a demonstration of resilience, 'Failures' as valuable lessons for personal growth, and ‘Successes’ as moments to proudly celebrate.

Rich Rudolph from Loud Speaker said: "We have embarked on an exhilarating journey by taking our live tour to the colleges in the NCG college group. Our mission is not just a speaking engagement; it's a transformative experience designed to ignite confidence within each learner. My time at Lewisham College was a great time and a profound experience of witnessing the limitless possibilities within the hearts and minds of those eager to share their unique stories with the world."

During the workshops, Rich served as more than just a speaker; he was a beacon of empathy and understanding. He encouraged the learners to open up about their troubles, anxieties, and fears, creating a safe space to express their vulnerabilities without judgment. At that moment, the auditorium transformed into a sanctuary of shared experiences, where learners realised, they were not alone in their struggles and felt supported and encouraged to learn from their past experiences and transform them into positive learning opportunities.

Tanner Kubilay, a performing arts student, said, "I had an incredible amount of fun today, and the impact on my confidence was remarkable. When I first walked into the room, I felt shy and opening up to a room full of people was daunting. However, Richard, our guide on this transformative journey, helped me feel empowered to speak up, identify steps to build my confidence and learn tips on public speaking skills."

Loud Speaker delivers sessions and workshops to support young people in gaining confidence and getting the tools they need to make the most of every opportunity that comes their way. Set up in 2019, Loudspeaker has supported over 100,000 young people to realise their ambitions and speak their way to success, helping them to identify their goals and interests.
