The Greater London Authority (GLA) has recognised Lewisham College's outstanding efforts in providing high-quality training within the construction and hospitality sectors.

The College has maintained the Quality Mark for construction and was awarded the Quality Mark for hospitality, demonstrating its commitment to providing learners with industry-relevant knowledge and essential skills.

The GLA’s Quality Mark demonstrates the College's excellent provision and commitment to training young people and adults to prepare for work or further training in the construction and hospitality sectors. Being a part of the Quality Mark community enables Lewisham College to collaborate and exchange expertise with other high-quality institutions throughout London, promoting exceptional skill provision within the London sector.

Jayne Morgan, Vice Principal at Lewisham College, said: "Lewisham College is dedicated to providing learners with industry-relevant knowledge and essential skills for employment and further training to meet the escalating need for skills within the construction and hospitality industries in the expanding landscape of London and the UK.

"We are proud to have consistently maintained the GLA's Quality Mark for construction and recently been awarded the Quality Mark for hospitality. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to preparing young people and adults for employment and further training in their chosen fields."

Construction training for 16-18s and adults is available at the College's specialised campus in Deptford Bridge. The hospitality provision is available for both age groups in various courses delivered at the College's Lewisham Way campus. Find out more here lewisham.ac.uk/courses
