If you are unsure of what vocational course to pursue and you have GCSEs grade D or an equivalent qualification in English, maths and/or Science and would like to improve your grades in GCSE to access university or further higher academic studies, this course is for you.

    Aims of the course

    To support students in helping them to identify their next step in either a vocational course, going into employment or to preparing them for Higher educational study.

    Progression Opportunities

    Students will be able to progress onto a vocational courses, higher educational studies or to employment.

    Facilities

    Students learn in the classroom for most of the time and sessions include group work, pair work and individual study. Students will be able to access college facilities such as the Learning Centre and ICT equipment. Courses will include work placements, educational visits outside of college and other enrichment activities.
