    What can I earn as an Early Years worker? When you're deciding what to study post-16, it's important to think about where your course will lead. If you study for a vocational Early Years qualification you'll be starting on a varied career path with plenty of opportunity for progression ? and a good salary in your sights. For example: Child or Early Years officers start on around £17,000 a year and can earn £24,000 with 3-5 years' experience Nursery nurses start on around £13,000 a year and can earn £16,000 with 3-5 years' experience Primary or nursery teachers start on around £27,000 a year and can earn £45,000 with a few years' experience
