    Entry Requirements

    • 4 GCSEs D-F / or 3-2 (in 2017 GCSEs) - Relevant Level 1 qualification with Merit or above - Relevant industry experience to Level 1 or above.

    Assessment Method

    The course is 20% theory (classroom based) and 80% practical (workshop based).

    Aims of the course

    To promote high quality learning that meets the demands of the construction industry.

    Progression Opportunities

    After successful completion of this course you could progress to Level 3 Building Maintenance for example or another construction qualification including an apprenticeship. Alternatively you could enter employment in the construction sector for example working in a construction housing or facilities management company.

    Classroom based lessons and practical workshop plus a minimum of one week's work experience.
