Catering & Hospitality

This course is designed to give people starting out in hospitality & catering a basic understanding of the industry, and will prepare you for further training or progression on to an apprenticeship or employment. You will learn about all aspects of food and beverage service and gain the key skills which future employers are looking for.

    Aims of the course

    To enable you to acquire the key skills you need to progress in the hospitality and catering industry.

    Progression Opportunities

    You can progress on to further study on the Level 2 Certificate in Culinary Skills, Level 2 Diploma in Culinary Skills or Level 2 Certificate in Food and Beverage Service.

    Career Options

    Possible career roles include chef or waiter in a hotel or restaurant, as well as a range of other roles in the hospitality and catering industry.
