The Unionlearn Trade Union Studies Centre at Lewisham College has a national reputation for the delivery of a range of TUC/NOCN accredited courses.
Our courses are for trade union, health and safety and learning
representatives who obtain paid release from their employers to
attend.
Our training is designed to develop both confidence and skills.
You can be assured of receiving high quality training, as the
Centre has achieved a Grade 1 (Outstanding) Ofsted report, as well
as two Beacon awards for Widening Participation and Partnerships in
Basic Skills in recognition of our excellent quality and high
delivery standards. Courses are held at the College or in the
workplace as required.
Lewisham College's Trade Union Studies also runs, with
Unionlearn and UCATT, a number of Construction Skills
Certification Scheme (CSCS) test centres. We run courses at a range
of learning centres including: the George Brumwell
Learning Centre at Heron Quays at Canary Wharf, Skanska Heron
Tower, London and St Barts Hospital, Bovis One New Change.
The Red Star Learning Centre is run in partnership with
the rail unions at Chatham and at Slade Green with
Southeast Trains and Southern Trains at Croydon
