Is this course for me?
If you are a qualified teacher of other subjects, have little or
no teaching experience or are looking for a career change, this
could be the course for you.
What will I study?
This course covers the syllabus laid down by the Cambridge/RSA
Examination Syndicate. Students study a wide range of areas
including classroom management, language analysis, presenting new
language and lesson planning. The course also includes six hours of
teaching practice, observation of experienced teachers in the
classroom and a range of written assignments.

Teaching EFL or ESOL in the UK or abroad.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to be at least 20 years old and have a
standard of education equivalent to that required for entry into
higher education. You should have a good awareness of language as
well as a high level of competence in English, both written and
spoken. This is a demanding course that requires commitment.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through assignments and observation.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
