Is this course for me?

This course is for those who want to develop independent living skills and make a successful transition to adult life.

What will I study?

A range of subjects are studied including life skills, personal development, English, maths and computing. You will also develop personal skills, building self-confidence, and you will have an opportunity to try new practical subjects and a work experience placement.

What can I do next?

This course can lead to other courses at the College and routes into work can be investigated. Tutors are happy to help with career progression.

What are the entry requirements?

You will need to be able to express some commitment to continue learning and be able to convey an interest in the course.

What will it cost?

If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances, you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out when you apply.
