This course explores gardening skills and methods.
What will I study?
You will practise these skills in a real working environment at
the College and off-site. The course also offers the chance to
improve basic and work-related skills.

What can I do next?
This course can lead to other courses at the College or
routes into work. Tutors are happy to help with career
progression.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to be prepared and physically able to work
outdoors and have some interest in horticulture. You will also need
to be able to understand and follow simple spoken or signed
instructions.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by the tutor who also gives regular feedback on
individual progress. Additional support, help and guidance are also
available from the College Guidance Team.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
