Is the course for me?
This course is designed to develop a deeper understanding of the
technique, performance skills, context and professional practice
needed to progress into HE, vocational institutes or employment in
the performing arts industry.
What will I study?
You will undertake self-directed study alongside directed
teaching and private study classes, performances, residencies,
workshops, written projects and presentations. You will gain
valuable knowledge and experience in order to become a versatile
theatre practitioner. This course is suitable for those who have a
full Level 3 qualification or relevant experience in the performing
arts.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through a range of methods including internal
practical assessments, written assignments, journals, evaluations,
discussions, presentations and performance.
What can I do next?
This can lead to higher education in degree courses, creative
apprenticeships and employment.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to have successfully completed a full Level 3
course and have previous drama training that can be demonstrated at
an audition. Two references must be supplied. You will also need to
attend a drama audition and interview. Evidence of an
interest and / or previous participation in dance is
required as well as an appropriate level of written English.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
