Is this course for me?
This course is a general qualification for the industry and
is especially useful if you want to get a job as a holiday
representative.
What will I study?
Reps look after guests at resorts, usually abroad. They ensure
that guests' holidays are enjoyable and safe. Duties can include:
meeting and taking guests to their hotel, holding welcome meetings,
selling day trips and helping with problems.
What can I do next?
This course can lead to employment in the industry,
including children, ski and campsite representatives, mostly
aboard.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to attend an interview and be assessed on
your numeracy and communication ability. Applicants also need to
demonstrate a commitment to attendance and punctuality.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
