Is this course for me?
The content of this qualification is designed to meet the needs
of candidates who want to work as chefs in the catering and
hospitality sector by providing them with a wide range of high
quality cooking skills that can be applied across a range of
catering contexts.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to come to College for an interview and short
test. You also have to have a reasonable understanding of Maths and
English and in the possession of a VRQ level 1 certificate in
Hospitality.
What can I do next?
This course can lead to a full Level 2 Certificate which
will enable progression on to Level 3 courses in Professional
Cookery.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
