Is this course for me?
This course is for individuals interested in working in
childcare or health and social care.
What will I study?
You will study the personal qualities and skills required to
work in childcare or health and social care. This will include
your personal and social development. Job opportunities,
communications with adults or children, personal care, promoting
healthy eating, a group project, and skills required for
work. You will also develop your English, Maths and
Information Technology Skills. ESOL support is available if
required.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to attend College for an assessment test and
interview. Two references are also required.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply. You will also need to purchase a text book.
