This course suits those interested in social work or youth and
community courses but who do not have the required
qualifications. You need at least 2 years' appropriate formal
or informal experience.

and practice. Work experience is an important component of this
course.

a social work degree or a combined degree in social work and

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to have at least one year of relevant work
experience in this field and to have completed a relevant Level 2
qualification with merit or equivalent grade. Mature students
without qualifications will be offered an assessment and interview.
We will also require you to have a Criminal Records Bureau
check.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by assignments, Time constrained exams .
Students also meet regularly with tutors to help plan studies and
discuss progress.
