Is this course for me?

This course is for teenagers who want to continue their education and develop their English

What will I study?

It covers English, Maths, IT, Science, Art, Drama, Citizenship and Careers Education. You will work towards a number of qualifications and there are also opportunities to take GCSEs in Maths and a Modern Foreign Language.

What can I do next?

This can lead to more advanced ESOL courses at the College or progression onto a range of other courses, including university.

What are the entry requirements?

You will need to come and talk to us and you will be asked to take a short reading and writing test to assess levels of English and Maths.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is by examination and continuous assessment. Students have regular meetings with a tutor to discuss progress and to help plan studies.

What will it cost?

If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances, you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out when you apply.
