Is this course for me?
This course could be for you if you are interested in working in
the retail trade, for example a store, supermarket or the food
industry. It will provide you with the skills you need to work in
this area and includes one month's work experience during the
spring term. The course includes studying towards the Basic Food
Safety certificate and Welcome Host which is a Customer Care
certificate.
What will I study?
On the course you will improve your general English
and practise the English you need to work in a retail
environment.

You will need to take an assessment so that we can assess your
level of English.

Assessment is in various ways during the course including
assignments, class work and examinations.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
