What will I study?

This course involves attending College for one day a week. It consists of study in a number of areas including: NVQ Level 3, Basic Plumbing Certificate Level 3, Key Skills in Application of Number and Communications Level 2. On successful completion an Advanced Apprenticeship Certificate will be awarded which is a nationally recognised qualification accepted by the construction industry.

What can I do next?

This can lead to supervisory jobs or higher qualifications within the industry. It is also an excellent route to self-employment.

What are the entry requirements?

You will need a Plumbing Apprenticeship at Level 2. You will also need to take an assessment test, attend a college interview and be employed as a plumber.

What will it cost?

If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances, you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out when you apply.
