What are the entry requirements?
You will need to take an assessment test and attend an
interview. Applicants also need to be employed or self-employed to
enable work-based assessment to be carried out for an NVQ.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is both practical and theoretical and includes short
tests, subject assignments and the completion of work-based
evidence books. There is an externally set theory test at the end
of the course. Students also meet regularly with tutors to help
plan studies and to discuss progress.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
