You will study Building Technology, Sustainable Construction, Health & Safety, Graphical Detailing, Mathematics and Surveying. If you are interested in or already working in the Construction Industry with a career in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Site Management or Architecture, this course forms a sound basis of study.

What can I do next?

This can lead to the final year of the BTEC Diploma in Construction.

What are the entry requirements?

You will need to attend the College for an interview and a short Literacy/Numeracy test. We would expect that you have GCSE's in Mathematics and English at Grade C or above; or a Building Craft qualification at Level 2/3; or a BTEC First Certificate/Diploma in Construction. However, do not be put off by this as we also take into account other qualifications and experience.

What will it cost?

Course fee: £1370 Exam fee: £180

Please note: For courses longer than one year, the fees stated apply to the first year only. These costs are for the academic year 2011-2012 only.
