Is this course for me?
This course would suit you if you are working in the industry
and would like to gain a Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying. The
programme consists of practicaal and theory work.
What will I study?
The programme is offered as a continuation from the Level 1
Diploma in Bricklaying and consists of practical and theoretical
study.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to have achieved the Level 1 Diploma in
Bricklaying/NVQ Level 1.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is on practical skills and theoretical knowledge,
including short tests, subject assignments and completion of
work-based evidence books. There is an externally set theory test
at the end of the course. Students also meet regularly with tutors
to help plan studies and to discuss progress.
What can I do next?
This can lead to Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying, or Bricklaying
NVQ Level 3. This can also lead to employment in the building
industry.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
