Is this course for me?
This course explores the underpinning knowledge necessary to
design, implement and support Cisco system networks. The course,
which includes plenty of practical work, will prepare you for the
CCNA certification.
What will I study?
This course explores underpinning knowledge necessary to design,
implement and support CISCO system networks. The course, which
includes plenty of practical work, is broken down into four
semesters and study is undertaken two evenings per week for each
semester of 12 weeks. We aim to provide all semesters over three
college terms enabling students to take the CISCO Certified
Networking Associate (CCNA) exam.

What can I do next?
This can lead to the Cisco Certified Networking Professional
course (CCNP) or the Foundation Degree in Business Information
Technology available at the College.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to have PC hardware and networking knowledge, or
alternatively, have successfully completed our PC networking
course. Entry to the course is through an assessment and/or
interview with the course tutor.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through examination and assignments. Students also
meet regularly with tutors to help plan studies and to discuss your
progress.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
