IT Entry Level (Start IT)

• Hours: 3 hours per week, 8 weeks.
• Next start date: September, January, April
• Course Location: Lewisham Way

• Who it's for: School Leavers 16-18, Adults Learners 19 +

Is this course for me?

This course is designed to help beginners master basic IT skills and build computer confidence at home or at work while improving their  skills and gaining a recognised qualification.

What will I study?

The course covers a core unit; IT Basics and four optional units; Database, Internet and Email, Spreadsheets and Word Processing.

What can I do next?

This can lead to progression onto our Level 1 ITQ Certificate for Users.

What are the entry requirements?

You will need to attend College for an interview and be able to demonstrate an interest in the media.

What will it cost?

If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances, you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out when you apply.

Course fee: £90 Exam fee: £25
