Whether you are already established or new to computing or IT, we have something to offer you.

You will develop skills within the broad context of IT and the telecommunications sector. You might also study IT as it relates to the business environment and the growing e-economy.

Our courses are held in state-of-the-art computer labs using all the latest software.  We have a range of courses from apprenticeships to diplomas, all of which can lead to full-time employment or a place at university on a BSc in computing or related degree.

Kingsley Walker - BTEC IT Practitioners Level 3

150x150Kingsley WalkerI came to Lewisham College because it offered me a great course that suited me, and it was a path I wanted to follow.

Through doing IT at Lewisham College, I got the opportunity to become part of the College's Career Academy. When I heard about it I thought wow, what a great opportunity, I'd love to get involved.

I have a mentor from City Group banks and he's advised me about what courses at university to do. I also did a paid internship over the summer with a law firm in London. Personally, I would have done it for free.

Being part of the Career Academy has made me more determined. I know I want to be at university now. It's driven me to be more successful. I'm now more confident and I've learned a lot.

This September I'll be going to university to study Business Information Systems. I'd say to potential Career Academy students, do not miss a chance like this. It's a great opportunity.

The journey from starting College to where I am now has been exciting. I don't think other colleges would have given me the same opportunities that Lewisham College has given me.
