Is this course for me?
This course is suitable for those aged 16-19 who are not
working, or who have yet to decide on their next step. It's
designed for those learners who like working in a dynamic, fast
-paced environment.
What will I study?
This course is a combination of two certificates at level 1. It
will provide an opportunity to develop and gain insight into the
world of business commerce. You will explore how and why
businesses operate and how the changing nature of society impacts
on businesses. They will also gain the necessary skills to work
effectively within a retail environment. This exciting
course also explores wider skills such as Functional Skills (Maths,
English, IT and BTEC Awards in Working Skills) all at Entry
level.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to have an interest in retail and business and a
desire to gain employment and wish to achieve.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment will be confirmed depending on the unit
requirement such as Oral Examination, Portfolio of Evidence,
Practical Demonstration / Assignment, Practical Examination
or task-based controlled assessment.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
