Is this course for me?
This course suits those working for a local authority housing
department, registered social landlord or voluntary housing
organisation, who want to develop their knowledge and skills.
What will I study?
This course explores the three core units for the CIH Level 3
Certificate in Housing plus the six units for the Managing Housing
Services Pathway. This course consolidates knowledge in this area
and provides a qualification accredited by the Chartered Institute
of Housing (CIH).

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to be working in a suitable job on a paid or
voluntary basis and attend an assessment and interview
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through a mixture of written assignments, multiple
choice exam, presentations and portfolios and is moderated by the
Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH). Assignments are related to
the application of knowledge in the workplace. Students are
also required to undertake a range of practical tasks in their
place of work and to write reflectively about these. Students meet
regularly with tutors to help plan studies and discuss
progress.
What can I do next?
This can lead to promotion or a change of job. Many students
have gone on to higher level programmes of study.

What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
