Is this course for me?

This course is designed for young people who want to undertake an apprenticeship in Hairdressing.  The course involves attendance at college for one day a week and four days with an employer. Employment is needed by the first half term in October to undertake this course.

What can I do next?

This can lead to Hairdressing Apprenticeship Level 3 and/or employment as a Beauty Therapist in a salon.

What are the entry requirements?

You will need to have completed a Hairdressing or Hair and Beauty NVQ Level 1 or have five A-C grades GCSE's. You will be invited to an interview and assessment test at the college.  It is essential that applicants have an enquiring mind, enthusiasm and a motivation to work with the public.

What will it cost?

If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances, you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out when you apply.
