Youth Entry to Further Education (YEFE) student Amrita Davies will this spring be launching her very own anti-bullying themed film.

Amrita is the brains behind the fictional film which follows one girl's journey as she deals with being bullied at school.

Amrita penned the script and with the help of her classmates has filmed a version of it as part of her class' community focused project. Amrita hopes to be able to show the film to local schools and community centres in the future.

"The film's just about life, about the experiences of my friends and people I know, combined with my imagination," says Amrita. "Not all kids have an easy life - but if anyone's actually being bullied out there they should tell someone. If you keep it a secret, things will only get worse."

Amrita now wants to become a professional scriptwriter and has advice for other young people looking to do the same thing. "Get your stuff out there - show people your work because you never know, it may be a success."
