Public Consultation Announced

Lewisham College and Southwark College have entered into a
formal public consultation for their plans to merge.
The proposals for merger set out an exciting and radical vision
for a college of the future in south-east London. By working
together the colleges strongly believe that they will be able to
get more people into work and support the businesses that are
transforming the communities within which they work.
Both colleges believe that merger is the best way to ensure that
local people have the best opportunity to study, learn and progress
in what is a challenging economic environment.
The public consultation is led and organised by The Skills
Funding Agency (SFA). Comments on the proposals can be submitted by
completing an online survey on the SFA website.
Alternatively, comments can be submitted in writing or by email
to the SFA.
