Lewisham College students star in KISS FM radio spot

Lewisham College has been on KISS FM recently with a radio
advert discussing the College's upcoming Open Evenings for Young
People and Construction & Sport. Two students are on the radio
discussing why they chose Lewisham College and why they made the
right choice. Who are they?
They're Performing Arts students Michael Olorunfemi and
Benedicta Idowu, both of whom travelled to KISS FM to record their
voiceover in the station's studios. "It was great! It was really
cool and a dream come true," said Michael, who is also an aspiring
artist who records under the name Shimzie. Both were fans of KISS
FM and were looking forward to visiting their favourite radio
station. "I was nervous for our first take, but once I relaxed, it
was a lot of fun," said Benedicta, who recently came to Lewisham
College from Botswana. After completing their voiceovers, Benedicta
and Michael toured the studio, taking pictures. "We wanted to meet
[KISS FM DJs] Rickie and Melvin but they had just left," Michael
said.
What next? Michael and Benedicta will continue to study for
their BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts, but Michael has
been called by an agency for further voiceover work. Benedicta is
also keen, saying, "I didn't think it would be so much fun, but I
want to do it again!"
