Lewisham College launches new mobile app
Lewisham
College is now even more accessible with the launch of a new
web-based application designed specifically for users on mobile
phones. The app, available at http://app.lewisham.ac.uk, is
designed for both current and prospective students.
Users can browse potential courses for study, set up a time
table so they can organise their schedule, keep up to date with
College events and view the College's Facebook and Twitter feeds.
In addition, students can request guidance on which course to
choose or financial issues, as well as reading the latest news and
maps for Lewisham College's campuses.
"Lewisham College is always really innovative, and this is just
another way to make sure that technology gives the students the
best experience possible. We know that students do a lot on their
mobile phones and this is a way for us to provide an essential
customer service," said Simone Davies, Head of Marketing and
Communications.
The web-based mobile app, designed by Flint Digital of
Manchester, is accessible to all mobile phone and tablet users with
Internet access.
