"It is fantastic that we have the opportunity to be working with
such an important company as White Light it's great for us, but
more importantly for the apprentices.
They couldn't hope for a better start in the Creative Industries
than this."
The four apprentices were recruited through the National Skills
Academy for Creative & Cultural Apprenticeship Training Service
(ATS). Pauline Tambling, Managing Director of the National Skills
Academy for Creative & Cultural and Joint CEO, Creative &
Cultural Skills commented, "We're delighted that White Light is
taking four apprentices. As one of our National Skills Academy
Founder Colleges Lewisham College is leading the way in customizing
learning and training for our sector".
The apprentices will be training as Warehouse Technicians, which
includes maintaining and supporting the management of stock
equipment. As their experience grows they will be able to go out on
site for theatre and live events.
Chris Nicholls Operations Director at White Light commented
"White Light is a very personal company, and we've always been
interested in developing new technicians in the industry -an ethos
that's been there since the start"
